I think I'm finally done with hockey. Some of my friends quit watching/following after the lockout and I hung around thinking things would get better. After this BS call tonight I just can't watch anymore. Bettman and his merry band of ******* have officially ruined it for me. Let Kalifornia and all the homos there have this watered-down, corrupt, bettman-fied version of the NHL, it ain't what it used to be and with crap like this I just can't stand it anymore.

My guess is you are new to being a fan of the NHL to begin with. You can't possibly be around this long and not used to ref stupidity. It's unnerving when it happens to your team but sometimes the Wings are beneficiaries too.

Well that sounds like an overreaction, but whatever can't say I really blame you.

Fact is until coaches get the ability to request video review on goal verdicts then we will always be dealing with the human error of referees.

Even after that we'll have to deal with officials still screwing up the call even after a video review, just like football.

Can't win em' all, even if you deserve to, that's just life man.

I thought every game in the playoffs matters, especially a series clinching one.

It's not to say the Wings aren't getting the s*** end of the stick here, it's that people strangely believe the Wings are singled out and either don't believe the Wings get calls their way.. yes, when it matters, or that refs want other teams to win. True, it pisses me off too when they screw calls up, but it absolutely happens both ways and sometimes to the detriment of the Wings' opponent.
