It's a throw-back from childhood thing. I liked ironing then, too. T-shirts/gym clothes are the exception...they get the "damp washrag in the dryer treatment" when I leave them too long and they crumple. Latitude or longitude? I don't connect emotionally with many people, so I'll say looks, which is odd since most of my boy friends have been on the not-so-good-looking side except for one who had no emotional connections with anyone- pure sociopath, albeit a non-violent one.
