redwingslady87 130 Report post Posted May 12, 2009 God, what an amazing night that was. My best friend and I went out on Gratiot Avenue where the cars were literally stopped. Everybody lined the sidewalks with banners and s***. People were running out giving everybody honking in their cars a high five. I was sitting on my best friend's window ledge with an air horn and started a Let's Go Red Wings chant with the cars around us. One of the most amazing nights of my life. Seriously. I'd have to agree. My boyfriend and I were down at the Joe for the game, and the only thing that would have been better than being at the Joe would to have been at the Mellon.
