Broken 16 381 Report post Posted May 13, 2009 Yes, shame on Perry. That'll teach him! esteef I say we make some signs for Perry for game 7. They could say stuff like: "Stop Picking on Our Players... You Meanie!". Or maybe: "Keep Up the Shenanigans You Crazy Ducks and the League Will Be Mad". Or someone could step up early and push his head through the glass... I like the latter. wingslogo19 281 Report post Posted May 13, 2009 great to see Dats stick up for himself. I think we will see a very angry Dats tomorrow night and will score twice
Vincanni 1 Report post Posted May 13, 2009 In my opinion unless you knock the f*ck out of someone you forfeit even being nominated as a winner during a fight in which you keep your visor on. This was definitely the case in this scenario, Dats didn't back down to that cowards pathetic display and took matters into his own hand which to me owes him a major kudos. Also, does anyone else agree Corey Perry is like a WWE villain on skates?
wingfan4ever 0 Report post Posted May 13, 2009 He might not be a fighter, but at least he stood up and didn't take the Duck's s***. Good for him.
datsyukismyfriend 4 Report post Posted May 14, 2009 that's one plus about dats right now. if it had been any other of our european forwards they'd probably be out with a fractured jaw or a concussion right now.
BlueMonk 102 Report post Posted May 14, 2009 I'm hoping this was a good tonic for his ongoing frustration over not getting on the scoresheet this series. Hopefully it helps him break out and have a big game tomorrow night.
MattPlay 0 Report post Posted May 14, 2009 I'm a big Pavel fan.... Just think, the side of Pavel's head has probably been sore from that elbow... I bet he is going to be ready for some revenge in more ways than one in game 7!

GMRwings1983 8,804 Report post Posted May 14, 2009 I'm proud of Pavel Datsyuk for getting beat up by a 40 year old grey-haired pansy who never fights. I don't know how you guys can say he stood up for himself when he didn't even throw a punch. He had one glove still on for crying out loud. Datsyuk didn't look like he even knew the fight was happening, so I don't know why you guys are applauding him just for hanging on for dear life.

I bet he is going to be ready for some revenge in more ways than one in game 7! he'll exact his revenge with some sweet stickhandling all the way into the zone, getting knocked off the puck by pronger or niederweiner, and promptly skating back to the bench for a shift change; shift after shift after shift after shift... you get the idea. they'll be sorry, that's for sure. He kept his glove on because as Pavel tossed off his helmet, the brave NA Captain who showed up for a full season was making sure his visor was secure. Pavel's hands are too important to the Wings to risk cutting them on Feminine Protection Products.

Kira 451 Report post Posted May 14, 2009 I don't blame Pasha for sticking up for himself. God knows he is frustrated enough to have good reason. Now, the best way to exact revenge is simple: Play a calm, cool game, and put the knife to the carotid artery while you're doing it. Don't get mad, get the best of them. Note pic to the left and recall that just about every time one of our euro-softies gets punches it's a near death expirience. If you're a wing, getting beaten while you're hanging ion to your opponents sweater counts as a win, or at the very least, a step in the right direction.
