Lots of good chances, but no goals despite having 2 PP's.

Also, we gave Huet lots of confidence in that period coming off the last game where he sucked.

I just hope we can sustain the pressure and score some goals, since there's no bonus points for puck control and scoring chances.

I still feel like Ozzie will have to win this game for us with all the injuries, especially when our terrible PK hits the ice at some point.

lol...you n me both! My husband is Detroit born and raised....in Alaska now and he can't stand it! But we have ONE other person from Detroit who watched the Wings with us as welll...but the games are SO early here....so everyone is at work......

I am THIS close to officially calling bull$h1t on the theory of the fast start. I've been thinking it forever, but everybody seems to believe in it. Half the time all I see is one team wearing itself out and the other scoring first despite being outshot 3 to 1.

And it's so typical rookies that can't or dont wanna finish... Leino and Abdelkader on a beautiful 2on1 and they fail to create anything, too cute, too many passes, i would have liked to see Hossa or Franzen in similar situation - BANG- SCORE...
