10 Minute Misconduct 104 Report post Posted May 28, 2009 (edited) Marian Hossa was wearing an ice pack on his right knee after Wednesday's drama-filled affair. We asked Lidstrom whether he would play Saturday night, and he said, "We'll see." We asked Hossa, and he smiled and said, "We'll see." http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/playoffs/200...&id=4211200 Edited May 28, 2009 by 10 Minute Misconduct
Rivalred 630 Report post Posted May 28, 2009 Hossa's comment was a reference to Nick; at least that is how I see it... Sore knee, would not be surprised... He has taken a lot of abuse the last 2 sessions... He has been getting faster as the games go on...
Heroes of Hockeytown 694 Report post Posted May 28, 2009 He had a knee on knee collision in the third, said he was alright, that of course means nothing; and he finished the game, which sometimes means something.
Drake_Marcus 890 Report post Posted May 28, 2009 Ice packs, baby- the Stanley Cup playoffs is what ice packs were made for! Chelios just uses an ice tub, but you know what I mean
Captain_Yzerman19 1 Report post Posted May 28, 2009 I'm sure he'll be fine. And extremely motivated to not screw this chance up against the Pens. He has some pressure on him to prove he made the right decision. 6 goals each game!

No excuses Red Wings fans. The Wings are in the drivers seat for this series. They have the depth. They have the talent. The only way the Pens win this series is if the Wings play like they did in Game 3 and Game 6 in Anaheim. If they play lazy for 2 periods and then decide to flip the switch, they will lose games. The Pens are going to be coming with everything they have for every game. If the Wings don't match that tempo, they will not win the cup. If the Wings bring everything they have every game, then they will win in 5-6 games.
