BuckeyeWingsfan80 209 Report post Posted May 30, 2009 If our stadium was as big as yours you wouldn't see any empty seats believe that. meanwhile 4500 of you losers in s***zburgh go to the Pirates games. Minor league teams draw more than that, but yeah, you're "good" sports fans (when the team is winning). Frontrunners.
Vladifan 680 Report post Posted May 30, 2009 Hey so is tonight's game a sellout yet? This is the last time I'm responding to you, Troll Tool. For the hell of it, I checked tickets for tonight's game and this was yesterday afternoon. (We went to Wednesday's game and had a woooonnnnderful time. ) The best available tickets were standing room only for $200 per. So either check your facts (Surrrre you will) or shut the f-ck up and move on.

Zack is Great 14 Report post Posted May 30, 2009 Yeah that new arena that's getting ready to open next year and the fact that Crosby and Malkin are both locked up long term really proves your point doesn't it? You seem to be the site's bankruptcy expert is that because you can't turn on the news in Detroit without hearing about bankruptcy? Hey, check this out. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oakland_County See that? It's the fourth richest county in America, right in Detroit.. I would venture to say a fair majority of the fans who attend Red Wings game live in that county. Suddenly we're not so bankrupt, are we? The car companies going out of business is terrible news for everyone, including the people who live in Pittsburgh. It's akin to when your Steel Mills closed. Every city goes through hard times. Yours did, and ours is. Soon enough, Pittsburgh will be in the same spot again. Oh, and before you counter with LOL YOU DONT SELL OUT YOUR GAMES, yes, yes we do. Every single game this playoff that has been played in Detroit has been sold out. Just because when a camera buzzes the crowd and you see an empty chair you automatically assume "NOPE NO SELLOUT LOL WINGS" doesn't make it correct. The fact is this team has been competitive for 20 years, while Pittsburgh has not. When they weren't successful, the team was just about ready to pack it's bags and move out of town. Good thing Ol' Big Daddy Mario stepped in, huh? If the Hockey Gods weren't so amused by your pathetic attempts at trolling they would make you watch Phoenix Coyotes games for eternity as punishment. Snazzy 0 Report post Posted May 31, 2009 I am SO proud of my team. The big bad Pens couldn't steal a win with all our injuries. They have faced adversity on so many levels and still prevail time and time again. :luv-my-red-wings:
bonan78 1 Report post Posted May 31, 2009 A couple of retards from our fanbase must have invaded their forums, so they sent a couple back. What a pointless thread. Edit; Economy jokes, huh? How original. QFT I can't say I'm surprised that this guy who came in holding an olive branch in his hand had his fingers crossed behind his back, and the second his team faced any adversity, he shows his true colors. Wubbie 0 Report post Posted May 31, 2009 So while you may see some empty seats, that's partially due to the fact that the Wings have one of the highest season ticket holder percentages. Whether or not people are in those seats - the tickets have been sold. You're right. Also a lot of season ticket holders spend some time watching the game from the Olympia Room.
