Is anyone else underwhelmed by Leino?

what the hell are you guys talking about?????? his cycling has been second to none, he's never been fast, but he's intelligent and makes good plays most of the time,,, he was the direct result of Abs' goal last night. what more do you want from a rookie trying to fill a dats void?

:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Some of you are ridiculous. Like mentioned before, Abdelkader's goal in game one was made possible because of Leino's work behind the net. He is a SCORER playing on a line that gets about 8 minutes a night and he is playing with Maltby.

Are you kidding me?

He's barely getting PT with 4th-line time. And in that time, he has contributed on the scoresheet. He's a rookie who has only played a handful of playoff games. He hasn't done anything to cost the team games. He has barely had the playing time to be even noticable out there, but he has been noticed, in a good way.

Understand what reasonable expectations are given the situation.

If Datsyuk can go Leino is the guy I sit

Ditto, but what a choice to have to make. My default would be Maltby, but he's been playing out of his mind.

Generally, when picking someone to sit in this scenario, I swap like for like. Datsyuk is a finesse forward with excellent defense. He'd be an upgrade for any other finesse-style forwards with lesser defensive capability. In that light, Leino has to be the odd man out.
