truebladearmy 33 Report post Posted June 2, 2009 Detroit accidently scored 1 of Pittsburgh's 2 goals. Malkin got let off for the reason of "Frustration" -------------- Detroit, is still missing it's top face off guy (Although did go 39-16 for faceoffs in game one. Detroit is missing it's best playmaker, and overall best player. 4 of 6 goals have been scored by GRAND RAPIDS players, because we're missing a good part of our lineup. So, lets talk about "luck? mariah 0 Report post Posted June 2, 2009 The only thing they notice is that we are winning and they need to come up with excuses for why they can't beat us. It is getting old, They need to just admit that we are a better team right now and stop whinning about every little thing.
#19forPresident! 1 Report post Posted June 2, 2009 Yep, everybody gets their good and bad breaks in sports. Sometimes bats shatter in baseball. Sometimes refs blow quick/slow whistles, and boards bounce in hockey. Sometimes snow blasts your team moving up the field and stops dead when the opposition takes possesion. Sometimes tires blow out in NASCAR. And the BCS is the work of voodoo death computers. Every sport has it's uncontrollable variables, people just gotta learn to accept them instead of using them as cop outs for the outcome.
55fan 5,133 Report post Posted June 2, 2009 It evens out. We have MAF's butt to thank. That's hockey, eh.
ifonlyicouldskate 11 Report post Posted June 2, 2009 people are always going to complain. If we were down 0-2 this board would be full of excuses.
Opie 308 Report post Posted June 2, 2009 Another whining about whining thread! I have an idea if your thread is going to start with: "The Pen fans need to " You should stop, unplug your keyboard (if using a laptop this may involve taking the machine apart, please unplug all cords and remove all batteries first), then smash your head off of a brick wall. Because that is about as effective as these whiny threads about how ridiculous the Pens fans are. Ever been around here after a loss, or even a close game. Seriously man, every one of your threads is about the pens fans, start a thread about the Wings, you know the players, coaches, team you root for, supposedly. Jake Ryan 1 Report post Posted June 2, 2009 There will be no asterixes put on the cup this year that have footnotes of this nature: * Got all the lucky bounces And there will NEVER be such a thing. The Penguins need to accept reality. We are better than they are. That's the bottom line.
motorcitykid 42 Report post Posted June 2, 2009 Lucky? Hardly. Wings are the better team. Depth. Poise. Calm. Experience. A couple of bad bounces on Fleurys part, but even without those goals, who knows what the final score. Luck has nothing to do with it, unless you're a Pens fan. That's all they're screaming for 4 days. Love to see this series played with a healthy Wings team. Sissy Crosby and the rest of the Penguins would likely have been run out of our building by now.
