Guest mindfly Report post Posted June 12, 2009 Err... can he really be traded now doesnt he have to wait until July 1st? if this is true, Anaheim is the winner by a landslide... it's not like L.A becomes a cup contender with just adding pronger

Lovin Jiri Fischer 147 Report post Posted June 12, 2009 This sucks. Now we have to wait for LA to make playoffs before we can make gap-tooth photoshop jokes.
Shaman 713 Report post Posted June 12, 2009 Id say that in the short term its a downgrade, but, in the long term, this is a great move for Anaheim to keep their back end young and deep.
Red Kingdom 4 Report post Posted June 12, 2009 Valenti and Foster on 97.1 are confirming this but, the other sites like CBC and TSN have absolutley nothing about it. Same with NHL.com and Sportsnet.

vladdy_16 0 Report post Posted June 12, 2009 (edited) Rich Hammond from The LA kings blog said he got a text from dean lombardi (gm of the kings) that said this is just a rumor and it's not true. http://www.insidesocal.com/kings/2009/06/johnson-rumors.html Rich Hammond: I'm away for the day, but here's what I can tell you via iPhone. Dean Lombardi sent me a text message that simply said, "Rumors not true." That's about all I can tell you right now. I will update if I hear anything different.
