Thank you Red Wings... for consistently being a great team. Thank you Chris Osgood for saving our asses more than once. Now, win yourselves the cup.

It has been frustrating at times but that gives me even more confidence about tonight. Can anyone honestly remember a big game during the season or playoffs where the Wings have not put their foot down. This is just one more.

Agreed. I remember the commentators talking about the Wings dominating at home against Chicago and San Jose and other tops teams when the games really mattered in the regular season. Wings get it done tonight.

Let's just hope the officiating will not ruin the game... Like the Hossa's canceled tap-in...

Go wings ! great season. I will be at the great canadian bar in paris to watch the game, if some guys are in france right now, i'd be please to meet you there

IF

and the Pens season is more "storybook" then ours is.

I thought the OP was a Pens fan when I clicked on the posting. :)

Sadly for us, the storybook ending for the NHL would be for the Pens to win.

I really feel like it's the Wings against the world.

I would have been storybook for the Tigers to win a few years ago, but it didn't happen.

The Red Sox were the "storybook" for how many years before they finally won it?

The Cubs. Need I say more?

Storybooks don't amount to anything.

Let's hope it's like in that South Park episode.. "Stanley's Cup".

Aint it always??

Just another reason why I give a middle finger to the NHL for not doing ALOT more in showing and promoting to the world what a great, great, GREAT owner, organization and team the Wings are!!

Nope. Gotta focus on hype and guys who ain't done s*** in the league. Underdogs are nice, but to continually ignore the Red & White, from them on down to the media and their bulls*** - is just nonsense.

This is why I take personal whenever this team is discussed.

I've laughed.

I've cheered.

And i've cried for these guys.

I love this team! I love our fans!

And I'm so glad Ozzie has finally taken on an attitude of "enough is enough" with all the disrespect shown him and our team since the first playoff postgame interview after beating Columbus.

We lose in the playoffs - we are too slow and old.

We win in the playoffs - we are old and slow. ???? f*** 'em all!

60 minutes. 1 more goal then Pittsburgh.

Stanley remains here, at HOME, where he belongs!!

Thanks to Matt and the boys here on LGW as well!!!!

Go Wings!!!
