Forsberg: Another Comeback attempt

Rate this topic

The report says basically that Forsberg will try to play two exhibition games on thursday and friday at the "Cup de Bains" in Yverdon, Switzerland with his Club Modo Hockey.

After the two games, he will see if his foot is allright...

Who can blame him? He did another fix in his foot and he wants to try it out.. it's not like he's going back to the NHL anyways , hopefully play a healthy season or two in Modo.. and that is being very hopeful.

While I wish him the best of luck I'm mainly happy that the expectations have decreased dramatically. A year ago this forum and Swedish newspapers would have been flooded with comeback-stories, interviews and opinions from everyone and their dog.

If the try-out with Modo goes well this might still happen, so I'm not holding my breath - just patiently preparing myself to ignore any and every Forsberg news story that doesn't include the expression "comeback of the decade."

If you loved hockey or anything as much as he did then you'd understand that you'd want to prolong that thrill as long as possible.

Yeah, what could be more thrilling than flopping and diving all over the rink and pretending like you're hurt in order to draw penalties.

Like Doggy said, screw Forsberg. Only he didn't say screw. :D

I hope he fails horribly. Dirty bastard, give it up.

Exactly. The guy's a filthy douchebag who took cheapshots, dove like a ***** and cried more than a baby out of milk. He can stick his comebacks up his ass.

So how would this affect our ability to pick him up before the trade deadline?

GET IT DONE, KENNY!

No, seriously Kenny if you or Jim Nill are reading - don't sign him or trade for him. Don't even think about it.
