hak 21 Report post Posted October 6, 2009 Interesting matchups tonight.. Toronto hosting Ottawa and Philadelphia hosting Washington Really excited for both matchups. What game are you watching tonight? I'll probably try to watch them both.. I was going to skip the toronto game but i'm just too interested to see how Gustavsson will play in his first nhl game as a starter. Will pronger be able to stop the offensive power in washingtons first line? Ovechkin - Backstrom - Semin... One of the best offensive lines in a long time? MacK_Attack 108 Report post Posted October 6, 2009 Stalberg is fun to watch. Are the lines set in TOR or are they on a experimental level? Stålberg - Stajan - Blake Ponikarovsky - Grabovski - Hagman Kulemin - Wallin - Stempniak Rosehill - Mitchell - Orr Kaberle - Komisarek Schenn - Beauchemin Exelby - White Mayers, Finger are scratches Primeau, Van Ryn & Kessel are hurt
kidish 0 Report post Posted October 6, 2009 Toronto against Ottawa should be chippy as hell. I think Pronger and co. will put a lid on Washington's high powered offense. Plus Philly will wear them down with the body, so I'm thinking that will be a lower-scoring game. Still highly enjoyable! But hell, everything else has been topsy-turvy so far this season, I'll be dead wrong about tonight. Good hockey to be had tonight though!

"Finger deep in the slot!" "And it's Finger from behind!" I was rollin' the other night! esteef

I'm impressed by Ponikarovsky and grabovski so far. Komisarek needs to stay out of the box.. Haven't seen Ottawa play yet

GMRwings1983 8,804 Report post Posted October 6, 2009 Calgary vs. Montreal could be fun. With Brashear gone, the Capitals could be in for it against the Flyers. Ovechkin is going to see some a-holes gunning for him tonight.
hak 21 Report post Posted October 6, 2009 btw.. is Varlamov the starter for the caps this season or is it not decided yet?

His fifth goal in his three games. 2-2 This game would be exciting if I had an emotional connection to either of the teams like I have with Wings. Edited October 7, 2009 by P.
