What makes this funny is the fact that the Chicago fans thought they hit the jackpot by getting Kopecky. I was reading their message forums after they signed Kops, and they had threads pouring out how great Kops will be in the Hawks uniform and that he's an extremely underrated power-forward-hard-nose-to-the-net player. I couldn't help but laugh at all the ridiculous comments being posted on their forum. All this while Red Wings fans (LGW and HFboards) were ecstatic to see Kopecky gone. Kopecky is way overpaid and leave it to Chicago to overpay their players. He's their perfect fit.... overpaid and overrated.
