Definitely couldn't see Crosby doing it (mainly because Sid wouldn't want to disappoint Bettman), but he does enough stupid stuff on the ice to make up for it. I don't recall Yzerman having a whole lot to say about his cokehead teammates other than "so-and-so is having a problem right now and it's an unfortunate situation and we're going to be here to suppport him..." suger-coated garbage. Recall that young captain Yzerman was either unable or unwilling to motivate his teammates out of partying in a bar until the morning hours the night before a playoff game that they blew. Yzerman haas done a million great things in his career, but he was not immediately known as being a great leader or a great captain. He grew into those roles. Upshall seems to be the Golden Boy for Flyers’ fan. Female hockey groupies are destroyed by this news. You know the type. They are about 40-50 pounds overweight, wear their jerseys to every game, have those 80’s bangs and hang out near the players exit hoping some lonely Canadian rookie will make eye contact. These are the same women who know every single bar the players frequent. I'm sorry, but that was just funny as hell. Definitely not kosher in the slightest, but funny.
