TheUkrainian 49 Report post Posted October 26, 2009 I have Franzen on IR and now Kolvachuk is gone? God Damn it. I had like 4 other players go on IR or are gone for a few weeks, I dropped the rest of them though.

Chelios57 31 Report post Posted October 27, 2009 (edited) I've got a double-whammy. He's my favorite non-Red Wing on my favorite non-Red Wing team. AND. He's on my fantasy team, and I can't put him on IR. So he's wasting space for 4 weeks. Edited October 27, 2009 by Chelios57
Z Winged Dangler 2,082 Report post Posted October 27, 2009 wonder if the thrashers will even win a game without kovy?? maybe if they play the leafs it'll be an epic basement battle!
Carman 387 Report post Posted October 27, 2009 (edited) wonder if the thrashers will even win a game without kovy?? maybe if they play the leafs it'll be an epic basement battle! Funny seeing a Wing's fan say this. ATL has a pretty damn good young team, Kovalchuk is a big loss and is a better player then anyone on the Wing's, but they still have Peverley who is going to win a Hart one day. And they actually have goaltending that could steal some games unlike the Red Wing's. Edited October 27, 2009 by Carman

That means he will have to perform better than Ovechkin, Malkin, and Crosby, forgetting the other outliers who will attempt to contend year after year. That said, the Thrashers do have a good team. People tend to forget Slava Kozlov's offensive production.

Carman 387 Report post Posted October 27, 2009 (edited) Have you witnessed the big three yet? All I know is Peverley is going to outscore anyone on the Red Wing's, barring injuries. Edited October 27, 2009 by Carman
Bannedforlife 403 Report post Posted October 27, 2009 The fantasy gods hate me. I have Hossa, Kovalchuk, Franzen, Lehtonen, Booth, Toews, Seabrook, Cole, Wisniewski and Havlat. 6 guys on the IR, 2 day-to-day, 1 just coming off an injury, and Havlat, who you KNOW is going to miss significant time this year. MabusIncarnate 5,359 Report post Posted October 27, 2009 Kovalchuk has probably been my best fantasy player so far this year, so it's bad news for both the Thrashers and on my squad.
