My problem with the Shirkorov is that in the past if the center ice ref calls a penalty like that on a trip the close ref is not afraid to add a diving to it to offset the center ice official's call...that should have happened there...

There is no lucky break that this team could buy this season...

To me it was a borderline boarding call because the Vancouver player acted like he was shot. Otherwise it was basically just pinning a guy to the boards and there's no call.
