FunkedUp 29 Report post Posted November 7, 2009 (edited) Link By Ansar Khan November 07, 2009, 2:52PM TORONTO -- Detroit Red Wings forward Brad May said the eye injury he sustained a week ago will not prevent him from fighting, if the need arises during tonight's game in Toronto. “I’m always ready to go,'' May said, following Saturday's morning skate at Air Canada Centre. "I’m certainly not afraid of anybody. I recognize that they got some tougher players.’’ The Maple Leafs have 12 fighting majors, nine more than the Red Wings (May has their only three). Colton Orr leads Toronto with five fighting majors. May, who played the last half of 2008-09 with the Leafs and lives in the Toronto area, said, "This is my hometown, I got to play with the Leafs, which is pretty amazing, it’s going to be a fun night.’’ Gotta love the guy Edited November 7, 2009 by FunkedUp
Cern 0 Report post Posted November 7, 2009 Wow, great dedication. He should really be careful though, a good punch could really make the injury worse.

Carman 387 Report post Posted November 7, 2009 Anyone that thought he wasn't going to fight tonight with a little injury needs to re-educate themselves on Brad May haha. Also "being careful" is not in his vocabulary. He is going to go out and demolish everyone in a blue and white sweater.

The Mule 0 Report post Posted November 8, 2009 Unlimited amount of respect for May, but when healthy, Eaves needs to be in this lineup before he touches the ice.
