Historically, an NBC national broadcast, plus a day game, plus back-to-back with travel for the Wings (following a "loss" under circumstances which are in my mind questionable), never mind it's Chicago they're hosting... well, all of this combined wouldn't have been good when they were good.

I really don't expect much, but will pray for the best anyway. I have to work, but like 55Fan, I can at least record it. Hoping for a good one, with a W!!

Anyone have recommendations on parking today? I'm kind of scared since the Auto Show is going on.

Usually we just park at Greektown Casino for free and take the People Mover, but I have heard that sometimes when there are events going on they charge for parking.

I'm coming from Ypsi-Arbor.

I've always parked simply in the Joe Louis parking garage, and usually give the guy an extra five bucks to let me park somewhere where I'll be able to get out of there quickly. Usually once the game is over, if you make it to the garage fairly quickly, you shouldn't have a problem getting out of there before too long. Just my two cents.

With LA winning yesterday, we really need to get this one done. I am not confident, though. I doubt we can keep Chicago to 1 or 2 goals, so my concerns are with us scoring 3-4 goals.

Well.. let's try to avoid the shootout in this one.. I say if its tied with a minute left in OT we pull Howard and go wuth 5 skaters.. atleast if they win in the empty net we will have peace of mind that it was indeed a loss.. Hopefully atleast the bad luck will come to an end today.. I dont remember seeing a team with worse luck than the Wings have had this season.. from injuries to bad calls everything seems to be against them. Seems like every game now is a must win game, and looking at the schedule for the next two weeks it doesnt get much easier so lets hope the Wings can pull it together.

My Prediction:

Wings 4 - Zetterberg, Helm, May, Ericsson

Blackhawks 3 - Hossa, Sharp, Seabrook

Today is not only a victory for us, but the begining of a long scoring streak for Lids and Dats! s***cago didn't look too overwhelming in their Columbus game yesterday so hopefully they will carry on with that type of play. Off the topic - I was at Buffalo Wild Wings the other day and this guy had a s***cago jersey on. The nameplate on the back read "REDWINGS SUCK". Kick their asses boys so when I see him again I can just give him a subtle little smile.

The Wings need to win this game since it is their makeup game on the Kings. A win puts us in a tie for 8th seed. I don't care about Chicago since they are so far ahead. Regulation or OT I don't care just pull out a win.

And I will be surprised if Ozzie isn't in net. Game goes to a shootout and was very physical on everyone including Howard last night, I don't expect him to start a game less than 24 hours later.

THIS. ^ As well as Jimmy's playing it's not right on any long-term level to keep playing him till he gets injured because of fatigue and/or more pounding.
