I think that if the Wings play like they did against the Sharks (and like they did against the Capitals earlier in the year), and are able to get a few goals and stifle Washington's offense, they will be fine. It will come down to effort. Hopefully they'll be feeling hungry as things haven't gone their way recently.

I don't see how they can not start Howard, but really the guy needs a rest. The Wings are getting better but they aren't quite there yet. Sorry, but I'd have to say the Caps win this no matter who's in goal.

I want to think the Wings can win this one, even if Ozzie is in goal tonight. Even if Babs in all his wisdom decided to finally put him in against one of the top teams/players in the league.

Well. I unfortunately have to miss this game because I will be at work.. Lets hope the Wings put on a performance that makes me regret missing it. If the team doesnt play a solid 60 in this one I could see it gettng ugly.

The only posts Mackel ever makes are to rip Ozzie. The guy hasn't even played in a month and people still go out of their way to bash him. You would think the Ozzie haters would be thrilled that he NEVER plays. Oh well, they will all disappear in April again like always.

In a way, this year's season has been more exciting than past years. We are used to it just being a given by the end of November that we will be in the playoff race. I am enjoying something being on the line every game. Of course, I just hope we make it.
