FunkedUp 29 Report post Posted February 13, 2010 Better check your cable or satellite channels, American TV viewers, because NBC won't be carrying most of the Olympics' hockey action. Instead, games involving NHL players are scheduled for CNBC, MSNBC and USA for the bulk of the action until the semifinal and medal games. NBC will not carry the U.S.-Canada game; that will be on MSNBC. Instead, NBC's prime-time schedule will feature women's figure skating and speedskating. Vladifan 680 Report post Posted February 14, 2010 This is GREAT info! Thanks for taking the time to input this. Meanwhile, the Canada women beat Slovakia (?) 18-0. I think that was the final. Anyway it was real bad for the not-so-good-team.

Lidstrom for life 20 Report post Posted February 14, 2010 so im a little confused by these times Noon-6 p.m. -- Men's Hockey -- USA vs. Switzerland (LIVE). this hockey game will not go 6 hours? does it start at noon? whats the 6 pm there for? sorry im a bit of a ratard please help I am wondering the same thing. My thought is that NBC shows like 6 hour blocks of olympic coverage and they will show the game during that block sometime. I thought I read somewhere else that the first US game is at 3 (Eastern) but I am not 100% sure on that.

Buppy 1,720 Report post Posted February 15, 2010 Note in case people don't feel like clicking the link, those times are Eastern. Finland-Sweden; I assume that is midnight Sunday (what most would consider Saturday night), and not Sunday night (midnight Monday)?
InKennyWeTrust 126 Report post Posted February 16, 2010 According to kausatoday on twitter, Datsyuk is centering line 1 and Malkin is centering line 2. Nice! (This is a sad attempt for finding a reason to bump this so it'll be easier to find tomorrow morning.)
