The ice looks really bad. Lots of passes bouncing over sticks and stuff.

0-0 after the first. Sweden looked okay. Not liking the chemistry of most d-pairs so far, except Kronner and Lids. Lines look pretty good, Hank and Forsberg were finding eachother nicely, Backstrom and Alfie show glimpses of promise. Sedins had a nice shift or two but Weinhandl has yet to really get into the game.

Franzen playing with good energy but not enough ice-time.

I read that BAG is just testing Franzen and seeing how well he can play but eventually he will move up into the lineup.
