such a long time since we only had two guys on the injured list and our opponent actually has more players out than we do. Yay for Versus! I don't have to scrounge for a feed.

Go, Wings! Fly high in the Mile High City and win this one. It's time to play hockey now!

I've missed you. :)

Lilja! :yowza:

Where is that from?

They are optimistic about their chances, in part because they are as healthy as they've been all season. They have only one injury (Kirk Maltby, shoulder) and welcome back defenseman Andreas Lilja today after a year-long absence due to a concussion.

Patrick Eaves said he is ready to play after missing the past three games with a sprained left ankle. Tomas Holmstrom, who was forced to withdraw from the Swedish Olympic team because of a bone bruise in his left knee, is ready to play, Holland said.

By some chance, I hope Babcock took notice of the other teams in the olympics defensive play.

- Raflaski is much better when he is the defenseman that is relied on in his pairing.

- Lidstrom and Kronwall play well together.

If these things were noticed, I think it would be pretty cool to try out something like this:

Lidstrom - Kronwall

Rafalski - Stuart

Ericsson - Lilja
