It's to bad when they show Beruzzi jump Moore, they don't show Moore hitting Naslund first. Even McSorley's hit on Brashear there was events that led up to it. Again, I'm not trying to start a debate, prove a point, or condone Betuzzi's or McSorley's actions, I just think it's unfair sometimes the events that led up to these hits aren't shown. Everyone remember what Bertuzzi did - and nobody why he did it... Last year - Kunitz crossed-checked Varlamov in head no penalty called... Mutant (Malkin) started fight with Zetterberg in last 2-3 minutes - no suspensions... puckbags 863 Report post Posted March 13, 2010 I dont applaud what Cooke did to Savard and obviously head shots need to be dealt with but as the rules stood in the NHL on that night a shoulder to the head wasn't illegal. It sucks but those were the rules. As for Cooke I was glad to see him drop the gloves tonight, he better get used to sticking up for himeself which he seems to have no problem doing. To this day I say that if Steve Moore would've just dropped his gloves with Bertuzzi and taken his whooping like a man that situation would've clearly never happened but he didnt want to man up for hit on Naslund and although obviously I don't agree with what Bert did it turned out to be a terrible situation for everyone involved ! Seem to imply that they want to know how long it is that Savard will be down - if that is what they're getting at. I'm sure a bunch of idiot meatheads got a good chuckle out of that.
