Are you trying to imply somehow that the Wings should get even more of a break because they had to play 7 games vs. some of the other teams that only played 6 games? Those that finish off their opponents early get rewarded with more rest, simple as that. Anyone thinkign there is some sort of scheduling conspiracy really needs to sit down, take 10 deep breaths and clear your minds. After a game 7 is finished, the next round is going to start ASAP and the only thing delaying that would be scheduling conflicts with the arenas and perhaps TV scheduling. In case no one else noticed, Detroit had a bit of break in the 1st round where they didn't play every 2nd night like most other teams.

I don't know why we shouldn't play on less rest than any team who finished their series in 6. As has already been established, The Eagles are ruining it for everyone. Echolalia 2,961 Report post Posted April 30, 2010 They did the same s*** to them last year. Just another reason why I believe in the conspiracy theory Zetterberg has said that he prefers the shorter time between series, and based on how Jimmy played right after the Olympics, I feel more comfortable with him playing every other night than to give him a 5 day break.
