titanium2 867 Report post Posted May 17, 2010 Where can we look up numbers that show who the most injured teams in the league were?
toby91_ca 620 Report post Posted May 17, 2010 Don't know about looking up the stats, but here is an article on the topic, written around the end of the regular season. Edmonton, by far, were the worst off. http://www.thehockeynews.com/articles/32720-THNcom-Top-10-Games-lost-to-injury.html

egroen 384 Report post Posted May 17, 2010 Another one of the myriad of stats the NHL does not post at its website. Only members of the media get those - and they are not the most sharing (I've tried).
cusimano_brothers 1,655 Report post Posted May 17, 2010 The League "Games Notes" has the figures, but obviously only for the teams playing in that game. They used to make it very accesible on their website; at one time, the Toronto Star used to print it weekly in their Saturday edition.
hardcoretom21 71 Report post Posted May 17, 2010 Yeah I remember commentators mentioning all the man-games missed by the Red Wings.. I'd be curious to compare those to other teams'...
titanium2 867 Report post Posted May 18, 2010 Thanks for the answers guys. Too bad it's not as easily accessible to the public. I wonder about this because I want to gauge how injury prone the Red Wings team is right now. I was thinking that we'd be lucky if Kronwall only misses ten games; Zetterberg, Franzen, Eaves came to mind as well. I wonder if they tend to be up there in terms of injuries year after year. It wouldn't surprise me if they are.
