BUT tell me, why should it be all about points? You saw how good defensively he is, he's good on faceoffs, he plays our puck ppossession style beautifully. Flip's a darn good hockey player even if he doesn't reach his offensive potential.

I agree. I've never suggested that He's not a real solid player and a great, potentially Selke-level defensive forward. I've just never seen him becoming the offensive powerhouse some suggest he will be. And the only reason I've suggested trading him is even a compliment to him in some ways. I think he's worth far more to most other teams than Detroit as we are already so deep when it comes to two way centers so i think we could get the best return without giving away an elite guy like D or Z. It's not that i don't like the guy or think he's a bad hockey player at all.

Oh, and of course i give him more grief mostly because buddy Z D C is incessantly overzealous in his defense. Its just too easy.
