MGreenberg 105 Report post Posted April 3, 2011 (edited) Well not the prettiest goal by Franzen but maybe he can get some scoring confidence back. Good Job Wings clinching the Central. Edited April 3, 2011 by MGreenberg

Vladifan 680 Report post Posted April 3, 2011 It's too bad they didn't get the fifth goal. Should have been handed to them to make up for ref's criminal non-call.
TheXym 2,606 Report post Posted April 3, 2011 Congrats to the Wings on clinching the Central Division yet again. 102 points and counting. Is it just me or does it feel like the Central title is back with it's rightful owner? 3 RWRNHZ40, Vladifan and GoWings1905 reacted to this
syntax 359 Report post Posted April 3, 2011 Central division is ours again. I thought we were decent...but we were playing the Wild. Here's looking forward to Carolina on Wednesday.

Firehawk 305 Report post Posted April 3, 2011 Good game considering the opponent and coming off an emotional game last night. This was a trap game. The last 3 games are all very tough. Carolina trying to make the playoffs, and Chicago trying to prove something and get as high in the standings as possible. Funny but we may have full control in those last 2 games on whether we play them or not . Gonna be interesting if the TV station puts up something like "If detroit wins in regulation, Detroit plays Chicago". Will just be intersting to see how it plays out here. I have a real bad feeling about it. I don't want to play Chicago in round 1. They have something to prove against us. I'd even rather play Anaheim.

haroldsnepsts 4,826 Report post Posted April 3, 2011 I just don't want Chicago to play in round 1. That's how I felt until recently, but now I think I want them to stay in 8th for a Vancouver-Chicago first round. That way no matter who wins the series, I'm happy one of the two of them lost. Jasper84 333 Report post Posted April 3, 2011 Wow, Jimmy says 'you know' A LOT in that last interview. I never noticed that before, but now it's going to bug me every time he gets interviewed. Going to have to start calling him Jimmy 'You Know' Howard.

Just like how Babs begins EVERY interview answer with "Well..." Seriously. He may not do it every single time but it's pretty damn close. Like 99.8% of the time. I'd love that as well. You know Nucks fans would be s***ting their pants over having to play Chicago for a 3rd straight year. Also, I'd love to see San Jose play their playoff killers, the Anaheim Ducks. Then, Nashville and Phoenix, (the two insignificant teams with s***ty fanbases), could play each other. That leaves us with LA. Edited April 4, 2011 by GMRwings1983

I bet the NHL would absolutely LOVE if teams played their "playoff killers". They could sell those story lines hard. So every other team should do that. Except for Detroit because I don't want them to lose and I'm not quite sure who their playoff killers are.
