55fan 5,133 Report post Posted September 19, 2011 That's too bad. It sounds like his relationship with the Wings was mutually inspiring and beneficial. The world needs more of that, albeit under better circumstances. RIP, Earl.
Detroit40oz 21 Report post Posted September 19, 2011 (edited) HOLY f***KK, R.I.P. :[ sorry for the profanity, but I remember hearing about him on CBC last season, He had probably one of the best red wings themed room's I've ever seen. It's a shame he never got to see his hometown Jet's come back for a home game. Wings were his favorite team though, and he got to go to games down in Minnesota and meet the guys a lot, and games here at JLA. There's some more video's about him on youtube, but here's one of the best. sorry its not embedded, but it's worth the click: Edited September 19, 2011 by Detroit40oz

What a sad story, but what a brave young man, such a fighter. Rest in Pearce Earl. And Mike Babcock, I hope he never leaves our organisation. What a passionate, sympathetic, kind hearted man.
