The Detroit Red Wings have signed goaltender Petr Mrazek to a three-year entry-level contract.

So next season there will be McCollum, Pearce and Mrazek. They might not sign a veteran next season for AHL. The 15 minutes McCollum played in the NHL last season might be all he's ever going to get.

I still can't believe we drafted McCollum ahead of Jacob Markstrom. Worst draft-day decision in awhile.

Mrazek is a very good prospect. I just hope his pro career starts off better than McCollum. 
Ken Holland: He’s (Mursak) a young guy, provides energy, can skate, he’s a puck hound.

Markstrom hasnt done a whole lot since his draft day either actually.I still can't believe we drafted McCollum ahead of Jacob Markstrom. Worst draft-day decision in awhile.

Markstrom hasnt done a whole lot since his draft day either actually.
Markstrom is still playing in the NHL this year and actually started a game earlier this week while McCollum is hardly playing in the ECHL.

Love this signing. I've had the pleasure of seeing him play here in the OHL and I definitely see him as our future goalie.

Hopefully Mrazek is allowed to play for the Czechs at the World Juniors this year. I'm really looking forward to seeing him in action, especially at the international level.
