JMFJ excited to play in Ohio?

He's closer to home.

GCL feed becoming jacked up, switched to radio feed via 97.1 app.
I don't know if I'll pay the extra money to see the games next year. The app and service this year have been hit and miss.

Go Wings!

I'm liking Mursak's game so far.

This Smith/Kindl pair looks good tonight

Ken Kal said there are open seats behind the endzones.
I know I don't like sitting behind the safety netting. You?

A legit penalty. Hudlers craptastic speed caused that.

Even strength we've dominated.

LOL, CBJ credited with 20 hits in the first. What a load of bulls***.

Not a great period by the Wings, but considering all of the players we are missing, it could've been a lot worse.

Blame that on Illinois ...
You know why Indiana is so windy?
Because Illinois blows and Ohio sucks.

The Wings only credited with one hit? Has there really been that much of a discrepancy between the two teams??

Decent first period. I think the team can play better even without the guys we are missing. Let's see how the 2nd period goes.

I thought it was a good period. We controlled play at even strength and showed some heart on the power play. Or PK sucks and the refs are dictating play, but I thought we looked good.

I'd be up in arms screaming for Kenny Hollands head if we were run out of the building in the first. Not even close to that, the Jackets didn't have one bigger then the casual bump kind of a hit.

If I'm not mistaken, hits are "determined" and recorded in the scoresheet by someone of the home team's choosing (or perhaps a local member of the press, like the 3 stars), so it's not too surprising to see a vastly overblown stat like that.

But still, 20 hits? One every minute of the first period? Someone's gotta be playing NHL 2 on 2 Open Ice Challenge and recording THOSE stats...

You're correct, they are recorded by someone picked by the Home team....yah, I normally don't pay that stat too much attention...but 20 in one period is ridiculous.
