however he was pretty awful in calgary last year, had a worse corsi rating than hal gill . probably will most likely be a 3rd paring dman for them.

In my perfect world, Josi would step in and skate with Weber. He has the potential but not sure if he can hold up the entire season on the #1 blue line. Hannan gives them another possible option and another veteran presence which we need on the blue line. Josi, Ellis, and possibly Blum or Eckholm..pretty young there

A one year stop gap until more opens up next year. Better to sign him than trade some prospects or picks for someone else.
Exactly, and precisely why I wanted to see Detroit sign him. He's not great, but is capable defensively, kills penalties, and blocks shots. Would have been a solid, cheap signing for a year (or even two). Nice pickup for the Predators.

He'll make Nashville fans forget about what's-his-name.
Not sure about that, but a solid matchup d man who can stay on the ice and eat a few pucks up. Hasn't missed hardly any games in his career, reliable for sure.

I liked him as a Shark. Did we even offer him anything, or does just no one want to sign with Detroit?
Kenny prefers to pay these type of players 3 mil + a year. Kenny probably never thought he would go for a million.
