I hope our defense tightens up, no more breakaways Quincey!
rick zombo 3,739 Report post Posted January 21, 2013 Why Mc? Because the Monster's hurt. But seriously, why Mc? Because: 1. He's out of options this year and the Wings need to see if he's worth hanging on to. 2. Mrazek is waiver exempt next year, and the year after, at least. So, no need to rush him. 3. Mrazek is playing 60-70% of the games in GR, so leave him there to keep playing. If you've going to call someone up just to ride the pine, it might as well be McCollum. 2 Dabura and Hockeymom1960 reacted to this

stevkrause 1,247 Report post Posted January 21, 2013 Because he'll only be an emergency option/blow out replacement/bench warmer... Mrazek is much better served playing in GR, than warning the bench and holding a clip-board here... <blockquote class='ipsBlockquote'data-author="rick zombo" data-cid="2342875" data-time="1358748382"><p> Why Mc? Hockeymom1960 5,107 Report post Posted January 21, 2013 McCollum should have never been thrown in that awful game. That was a stupid move by Babcock. Why not Mrazek? Petr doesn't need to be thrown in a situation that would hurt any confidence he has, with such a short season, and with the way this team is playing now.
