This is a nice compiled list, often times people here ask "what song is playing when (event) happens at a Wings game?" and this is a good start at a reference point.

I think "Don't Stop Believin" by Journey has become one of the most iconic songs played at The Joe. That is what sticks out to me the most by far.

I worked hard on that list. I actually keep that whole list as a playlist on my iPhone, and listen to it all the time, and whenever I am playing hockey, or driving around. It's pretty apparent I have too much time on my hands ! Lol. Go Wings !

Living on a prayer - Bon Jovi usually rocks there with crowd singing... And Sweet Caroline too. It's a great great atmosphere when we're winning at the Joe that's for sure!

I personally believe its time for a change in the entire playlist at the Joe....along with ousting Karen Newman...

It's a new day and the Joe and soon to be Cadillac Centre ( My name for it) and it's time to bury the past, or maybe even re-live the past a bit with some throwbacks in the music.

I think it's funny they play "Don't stop Believing." In the lyrics it says "born and raised in South Detroit, he took the midnight train going anywhere."

Basically saying he took any train to get the heck out of Detroit, ha.

Man, they used to play the heck out of this one at JLA in the late 90s and up until at least 2008. Wonder when they stopped playing it?

edit: also, after a kronwall goal they play "I Can't Drive 55" by Sammy Hagar and after a nice save by howard they play "Top Jimmy" by Van Halen at the whistle!

I think, If I remember correctly, that after we scored the 7th goal in the 3/7/14 win over the Devils that they played a song and Mickey Redmond commented that it'd 'been a while since they've heard that one' and seemed to imply that it gets played everytime we reach 7 goals. Any Idea what the song is? My friends and I have been waiting for a 7 goal, home game explosion ever since to figure it out..

P.S.. I think I picked a good, random topic for my first post. No opinions of mine were expressed in it to get me on anyone here's badside, right? ;-)
