It doesn't look like the Ottawa Senators will have forward Ales Hemsky in the fold for next season.

TSN Hockey Insider Bob McKenzie tweeted on Monday that Hemsky will be going to market as an unrestricted free agent on July 1. According to McKenzie, Hemsky rejected a three-year, $10 million contract offer and the Senators are now prepared to trade his free agent rights for a draft pick.

He is a goal scorer, but I say no thank you.

"When the cast comes off, I ask my doctor, 'Have I recovered so I can play the violin?' The doctor says, 'But of course you can play the violin.' I say, 'Wow, this is great. Before this injury, I could never play violin at all. I must break the other hand so I can play guitar.'" –Pavel Datsuk on breaking his hand

He'd be in the press box within a month.

I bought some Maple Lea Tea.  It cost a fortune and didn't come with a Cup.

No thanks.  Not if he's not willing to take under $4 million.

Imma let you finish, and your cap numbers are all good and all that, but imma let Kenny figure it out. Kenny's cap numbers were the best cap numbers this year.

I'd much rather Michalek.
