Does anyone else find it odd that neither of our leading goal scorers play with D or Z, two of the best setup guys in the world?

I think Dats and Z have been together most if not all of the night, haven't they? When they're together, they like having Abby as the net front/puck retrieval guy, which I don't really have a problem with. He's been very good in that role this year.

I'm not sure why Nyquist isn't seeing more ice time tonight though.

I meant putting Nyquist or Tatar with them. I'm sure the combos that they have now is what they like, but I feel like Nyquist is being wasted playing with Franzen and Helm.

I agree about Nyquist. Helm isn't exactly a playmaker and Franzen is in float mode, so Nyquist doesn't have a lot to work with.

I don't quite know what's going on with Weiss, but I absolutely think Franzen should be on the bench. It's been a long time coming.

There's no way a 6'4" 230 lbs forward with the ability of Franzen should be so invisible out there game after game. Mule has something like 2 goals in his last 20 games.

Franzen has the size and skill to control games if he wanted to, as we have seen in the past. Such a waste. He really does need to be benched. Theres no excuse for how he just floats out there and seems like he just wants to finish the game and hit the jacuzzi, win or lose.
