NerveDamage 4,176 Report post Posted November 26, 2015 seats are sold, mostly to businesses and the people just don't use the tickets. So it is sold out, but the attendance is not 20,100. They used to announce the attendance every game, now they just say its a sell out. Blasphemers! haha. How can they let those tickets go to waste??
Hockeytown0001 7,652 Report post Posted November 26, 2015 I keep getting boggled about these consecutive sellouts. Is the Joe haunted or can ghosts be ticket holders as well? They keep saying it but there see to be a lot of empty seats on the stands. I'm not sure if you've been to JLA before, but the concourses are extremely cramped, not to mention that there are only two bathrooms for each gender (until the recent additions by the Tim Hortons concessions). The lines for the bathroom are legendary, and I've missed plenty of game time waiting in line, which is why I now time my walk down from the stands with 25 seconds left in the period so I can get a head start on it. Not to mention nearly 1/4 of the fans are still walking in the doors when game time arrives, and plenty leave early for some mind-boggling reason (head start on traffic maybe?). No I haven't, I yet have to attend a Red Wings game. I had some chances in Anaheim, LA and Vancouver (I even went to the American Airlines center ribbon cutting in Dallas) but I made the decision to attend my first game in Detroit. I've noticed that whenever the Wings are down on the score the Joe empties, and sometimes they even turn the score around...sometimes Edited November 26, 2015 by NerveDamage
joesuffP 1,746 Report post Posted November 26, 2015 I think Datsyuk and Richards have the right idea on offense. Not too cute but quick bang bang plays. And what ever happened to us scoring on deflections and screens, rebound goals even. There's been a handful all year. Have we scored from the point all year? And Z has scored 2 goals in like 45 games. That is ridiculous. He has stopped making a conscious effort to get pucks to the net and it's showing statistically. We're counting on a rookie and a grinder to consistently score on our first line 2 roboturner and Wheelchairsuperhero reacted to this
Aethernum 276 Report post Posted November 26, 2015 I question the sanity of anyone who saw last night's game and still wants to change up the lines. We outplayed Boston. We just happened to lose. That happens. 1 Wheelchairsuperhero reacted to this
joesuffP 1,746 Report post Posted November 26, 2015 Dominating a team and only scoring two goals on a backup goalie is a problem, Ya know how we rank in the bottom third of the league in scoring. Pretty big problem.
joesuffP 1,746 Report post Posted November 26, 2015 Usually dominating a team like that results in big leads. Dominating in every area besides the scoreboard isn't really dominating at all
Bill Berzeench 310 Report post Posted November 27, 2015 Youre right, Joesuff. The scoreboard doesnt have a "dominating the play" digit.
Wheelchairsuperhero 1,453 Report post Posted November 27, 2015 Youre right, Joesuff. The scoreboard doesnt have a "dominating the play" digit. That's why it's called "dominating the play" and not "winning".
