Makes you wonder if high drafts really will make that much of a difference with all this parity. It will come down to luck most likely. Unless we got first round pick or maybe 2nd. We're a 4 or 5 game win streak away from being right back within the bubble - still sucks to see them struggle with so many of the same things as the last year or two (powerplay, quality shots on net, team defense) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

In those cases we'd be guaranteed to have talent that can carry. TB has several of their top 5 players out with injuries. We don't have any top 5 players. When healthy they will get better.
