We had a good team, you stupid son of a b*tch! We had Hossa. We had Datsyuk. We had everything we needed, and it all ran like clockwork. You could've liked your team and won as many cups as you ever needed. It was perfect. But, no, you just had to overpay your depth players and sign washed vets longterm. You and your pride and your liking of your team! You just had to kick tires. If you'd actually scouted Zadina, and promoted SY and Nill, we'd all be fine right now.

When the fuqq did Holland take over LAK? I missed this. I thought Kenny retired after OilLand. I'm suddenly excited to know that tire kicking is alive and well.

And Rob Blake? Always thought he might end up in Colorado. Interesting to see him unemployed.

You know who survives in LA? Marc Big BIs Bergevin. Now Senior Advisor to Holland.

It is with a heavy heart that i must relinquish muh luv of my oilies and my habies and announce that I too join the dream team that is the Kenny/Bergy Kings.

While I understand Franzen was a hot commodity at the time, but Hossa was a proven player and would've been ideal to have offered/signed him before The Mule.
