If the offensive upturn is sustainable I would be comfortable riding with Larkin/Copp/Compher/Veleno until Danielson is ready. I’d like a Cozens, but if we keep playing this way he isn’t a “need” in the way a defenseman or two would be.

That's true... but I really like Johansson... I think he's comfortably a top-4 D really soon.

I forgot this game started at 3:00 and now I deeply regret it

I guess you're keeping Casper on the wing then?

For now. Larkin was on Zetterbergs wing at the same age.

Yeah he’s been really good the last couple games. Smart of McClellan to recognize Jahansson and Edvinsson had played a full season together last year in GR.

The longer this streak and the better the team and a lot of individual players look... ya gotta think that makes Lalonde less and less likely to get another HC role.

It doesn't seem to matter who's playing with Larkin and Raymond right now.

I agree, but I think this is good for Marco because he’s been dragging losers to scoring chances since he and Berggren were setting up Tarasenko a billion times a game. Then he and Ras were making Motte look like a star for a minute there too. Glad to see him get rewarded for doing the work.

Anybody who thinks Detroit didn’t draft any “elite talent” during this rebuild clearly haven’t watched Seider and Edvinsson defend. Simon Edvinsson is better at being a defenseman than Conor Bedard is at being a center.

Listened to game on drive back from OH and definitely need to see game recap videos. Paul Woods kept saying the entire roster is on the same page now and playing like that is way more fun and easier

This upcoming road trip will speak volumes for the team

They really did look like they had unreal chemistry today. Looked crisp. Love this lineup minus our 3rd pair.
