Praying Mantha, the whole point of "our" GDT is to enjoy the creative genius of the few guys that put all the effort into it. We appreciate the link to "all the data we need" but its just not the same. It's also not a race to see who can get the GDT thread up first. Again, it's well worth the wait to enjoy the creative efforts of the "regular's." No offense, but do you see what I am saying?
That being said, I hope Dats is 100% and doesn't reinjure his shoulder! Lets go Wings!
Totally! No one had signed up, so I made a point in the Datsyuk thread to just delete my post if someone comes up with something wicked. I am in total awe and respect of Flashy G, Hockeytown, and others' Game Day Threads. I just put something up cuz it looked as if no one else was going to. No disrespect to you or anyone else. Just a noon here who likes to talk a little wings hockey!
“I did my best throughout the preseason to do what I could to get in the lineup and it wasn’t good enough,” Weiss said. “But it’s a long season. I’ve just got to keep working hard and keep trying to get better and when I get my chance to go I’ve got to be ready to go. I’m hungry to get back in the lineup,” Weiss continued. “It’s always a surprise and a shock when you’re not playing. It wasn’t just going to be handed to me on a silver platter.”
I actually like what he says and it doesn't seem to be anything other than a hockey issue from that article.
Glad he's got the right attitude about it, at least when he's facing the press. It's no easy task to face that question square on and be humble and positive. He deserves more credit for that then he'll likely get.

"THIS GOAL IS BROUGHT TO YOU BY DEE TEE EEEEE ENERGY!"
I really don't like hearing that while the goal horn is blowing and the crowd is roaring. It really kills the high.
It'd be cool if Datsyuk sponsored the Wings for a game, just so when Zetterberg scores, we'll all hear "Zetterberg scores!!! THIS GOAL IS BROUGHT TO YOU BY PAVEL DATSYUK. BECAUSE EVEN WHEN HE DOESN'T SCORE... HE SCORES."
