I agree. We have young talent that matches his ability, and many will probably end up better, that we need to make room for. I don't mind him being signed as I think he was young and still growing his game at the time. But I think he has hit a ceiling at this point and just cannot stay healthy. I see him retiring early.

Hate it, but unfortunately, it is looking like we may have to move on from Fabs. I like him but I don't think he has played a full season yet. It has to be depressing for him as he has worked so hard. I don't think Steve will just dump him because of injury but in a future deal, it would be hard to give him what he will probably want.

I agree, spot on I think we need to bring back Kocur or someone to teach the guys on this team how to manage a fight or one on one battles. Probert and Kocur used to go to the Kronk boxing school for lessons. I am not saying we need to be a goon squad, but I think our guys like Seider may not know the details or may be a little intimidated by these types of situations. It would be nice having them practice it on the side just so they are more confident in handling themselves in a situation like that. SY are you listening? I don't want Seider taking these kind of penalties, but one of his next steps I feel, is him making an example of someone just so people around the league take notice. Then his presence will be more "appreciated" by the other teams on the ice. Like a Chris Pronger, everyone knew when he was on the ice. After you set some examples, I feel you would not have to fight as much in todays game.

This appears to be a perfect game for Ras and his line to dominate.

Ok, this is the game we have been waiting for. This is the real test of our teams identity. Both are sitting at 3-1. Is it going to be a bloodbath of fighting and Ottawa becomes the new Colorado? Could this be a tone setting game for the season? Will someone put Tkachuk's face through the boards?

Gotta go CUP! all the way!

Leafs tank another season but miss the playoffs this time, Red Wings trade off some dead weight to the leafs and bring back Tuzzi for our run, but the wings lose to carolina in the con final. Lions win that super thing and Dan Campbell retires from football saying he did all he wanted to do in football, then promptly takes on the Red Wings coaching job wanting to be the first coach to win the big dance in two different sports. Brings Hutch with him to be in goal since he is so good at swatting away the biscuit. D-CAT says "40 goals? , pffffft I am doing 60" but falls just short of SY's team record 65. Paul Boyer is fired for banging a hooker on the Zamboni and SY hires carrot top as the new equipment manager. Red Wings actually get an effin break from an NHL referee crew.

Totally agree! This is a CBJ team that is up and coming, young and will test us. They are kind of NJ lite, so it will be interesting to see how our D has hopefully adjusted.
