Flip-check 6 Report post Posted May 5, 2007 Diagnosis: Work related concussion. Recommended treatment: 2 Motrin (Ibuprofen) and a nap in a dark room. Contraindication: Do not take Motrin (Ibuprofen) if you have an gastrointestinal symptoms or ulcers. If this is the case, 2 Tylenol can be substituted. Follow-up: 2 days. Beware of false prophets (and doctors), folks. This is the way: Dg: Tomfoolery, no doubt. Potential dumbassery, or mere freak incident. Rx: Learn from your mistake - that's all. Or if you're the irresponsible type, 3 daily trips down to the pub, no naps, but involuntary passing out is acceptable. Crap you'd best avoid: Beer goggles. You know what I'm talking about. Don't go home with her. When you cough up a co-pay again: Morning after, whatever does or doesn't happen. What do you think about these mad skillz, Rabs? If this keeps up, I'm gonna have to ask you to see a medical professional.

The swelling has gone down, but on and off since I've been feeling crappy. Edited May 6, 2007 by glasgowcelticwing

You need to ice your bump to make the blood vessels shrink so it won't hurt as much. And keep taking Motrin (Ibuprofen) as needed to help the swelling go down. You might really have given yourself a concussion.

It was me just being me, act first, think about it later type thing just to get the job done . The dumb thing is I'm quite injury prone, luckily none serious. Just call me the Scottish Tim Taylor. ME = Idiot.
