(Most of the time) We had a guy blow his arm damn near off and the doc didn't want to help out. It was funny. we gave her to another crew after that. I love trauma! I would LOVE to help out with that kind of case. I literally spent my whole shift today looking for some sort of trauma/surgical case and they kept dragging me back to look up kids' noses and diagnose yet another "upper respiratory infection" which is doctor's talk for "I'm not sure what's happening but I'm gonna say URI so I can document this and get paid." Where the heck are you at???? Sparrow has at least 3 "Traumas" a day. Although we at the fire department call BS because they are just trying to boost numbers for their accreditation. So these small car accidents they make a big deal about. But we get the shooting and stabings once in a while. A good PI here and there. And like I said the usual Drunks and people that have to go to the ER because they sneezed three times instead of the usual two. You need to go to Detroit Recieving for a fun time.
