literally 5 mins after this post the phone rang and they told me I didnt have to work. I nearly fainted since they were so adament about I HAD to work. So I quick dried my hair threw some dressy clothes in a bag and dashed to my cousins to get ready. and I had a blast :D

Yay! I'm glad they cut you some slack :)

Also, a story about fail - I locked myself out of my room in a bathrobe. I'm in an apartment now and not the dorms thank goodness, so I just chilled in my living room for 45 minutes until my RA came back. I called the campus office to see if they could send someone earlier and they suggested I go out and find another RA and I was like ummmmm no I'll just wait here haha.

That would draw attention away from your extremely large height. Think we can tack your wounded eyebrows onto our injury lawsuit somehow?

Hey, if we're going to do it...we might as well take em' for all they're worth eh?

Here's a little gem I found while not doing homework. Read it out loud as fast as you can and try not to fail. Should be especially fun for those whose native language is not English.

I take it you already know

of tough and bough and cough and dough?

Others may stumble, but not you,

on hiccough, thorough, laugh and through.

Well done! And now you wish, perhaps,

to learn of less familiar traps?

Beware of heard, a dreadful word,

that looks like beard and sounds like bird.

And dead -- it's said like bed not bead --

and for goodness' sake don't call it deed!

Watch out for meat and great and threat

(They rhyme with suite and straight and debt)

A moth is not the moth in mother,

nor both in bother, broth in brother.

And here is not a match for there,

nor dear and fear for bear and pear.

And then there's dose and rose and lose --

just look them up -- and goose and choose,

and cork and work and card and ward,

and font and front and word and sword,

and do and go and thwart and cart --

come, come I've hardly made a start.

A dreadful language? Man alive.

I'd mastered it when I was five.

Dealing with the aftermath and displacement of my friend after the F2 tornado ripped through her apartment complex in Plymouth is a lot of fun! Got to cat-sit her kitty for a bit and who knows how long her food will be in my fridge/freezer. Yikes what a disastor that is. Thankfully she and everyone (including those in the now condemmed sections were all safe!

My dad makes the loudest mouth/jaw noises when he eats, I have to eat on the other side of the room. I HATE mouth noises when people eat. I also hate talking about my day and how everything is going when I eat. Finish your food. Then talk to me. Dinner time is eat, be quiet and watch Seinfeld and/or the game.
