Are you kidding me???? It took 3 different goalies to get 3 different cups. It's great to see such Ozzie loyalists, however, Ozzie plays with donkey balls now. This game really was his fault.

Not saying a part of it wasnt his fault, but christ he needs help in the defensive zone. Half of his goals against this year, he had no help from his d and once again the d killed them. Your gonna blame the 1st one on osgood, when lebda is laying on him when he is trying to go over there and make the save. As for 3 different goalies to win 3 different cups, in 2002 you could have put in Garth Snow and they would have won the cup, thats how good of a team that was that year. Im sure you were one of the guys after the wings fell down to vancouver in the series saying "Hasek sucks, put in Legace." It happens everywhere, get over it.

this is what always screws us. Maybe we just shouldn't allow the announcers to mention anything like that in the pregame shows. Because isn't that what happened a few weeks ago against tampa and someone else (my brain is failing right now)?

Great first period, but they got tired, which is to be expected with the schedule they have. No worries though. Manny will be in net on Tuesday and the wings will get the win. It's good for this team to get a kick in the butt once in a while just to get the motors started again.

No. On the contrary kid, Keeping the dominator in was brilliant, and all the years of watching Buffalo, I knew what hasek was capable of after a tough night. Ozzie rode Vernon's coat tails into the #1 spot. The 98' team was defensively better than the 2002 team. Ozzie was lucky. My point is that a #1 goalie is just that.. a #1. A guy who can make the big saves. Ozzie needs to go and we all know it's for the better of the team.. If Babcock is as tough as everyone says, Ozzie will be in GR soon with Howard up as our back-up.

you're right. wings played really well. osgood was unstoppable. great effort all around. it was the refs. they have it in for us. all those questionable calls for detroit in the first were to throw people off their trail. dallas didn't deserve this win. they didn't out shoot us 20 to 10 after the first period or whatever it was. they didn't out play us and hold us to the neutral zone for the last two thirds of the game. it was the refs.

Ha! The '02 team had the Norris winner and Norris runner-up on it. Plus Jiri was playing out of his mind, along with Duchesne and Olausson. Our defense was incredible in '02. '98 wasn't even close.

Yeah, Osgood had a bad game. But sorry, this bad game by him doesn't automatically make Manny the starter. It's gonna have to take a string of bad games for that to happen. I see Osgood being REALLLLLLLY pissed about this, and that the next time he plays he'll be a different goaie out there.

Did I mention the officiating SUCKED? What the hell were they doing? How does a guy from 85ft call a penalty on Homer that shouldn't have been called, yet the ref in front of the play didn't say anything. Then you know it's bulls**t.

Brining howard up for a playoff push is the most idioic thing I have ever heard of. Bring up a rookie who frankly hasnt shown anything for an important playoff push. I hope you have no decision making skills in your life, because you sir are a grade A idiot.
