Lou_Siffer 1 Report post Posted April 21, 2006 I heard possibly a 6th round pick next year!! Can you imagine what 3rd string fullbacks could be available with that pick???
betterREDthandead 58 Report post Posted April 22, 2006 If I were Millen, I'd be tempted to threaten sit on Harrington past the June 15 bonus deadline. It's not my $4 million to spend, but if Miami's gonna play hardball, let 'em go into training camp without all their quarterbacks for all I care.
Lou_Siffer 1 Report post Posted May 12, 2006 Its finally over! Joey Harrington has been traded to the Dolphins for a 5th or 6th round pick (depending on performance) in 2007.

timothy1997 0 Report post Posted June 2, 2006 http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news;_ylt=AoLf...=yhoo&type=lgns Nice article on Martz still acting like a head coach and he is calling out players. So far, I think it is working because the players seem to be responding to the coach. How can they not?? They haven't gone anywhere under the last few systems. For this team to make the playoffs would be an extraordinary accomplishment.
betterREDthandead 58 Report post Posted June 7, 2006 One thing that's really kinda flown under the radar is the Lions' signing of Ross Verba. That guy had a big nasty streak when he was protecting Brett Favre, and he's been working out at left guard with the first unit. Left guard has been so bad the past couple years, the Lions might as well have requested that opposing defensive tackles simply count "three Mississippi" before rushing the QB, and forget about running to that side at all. Verba will start this year and he'll probably turn out to be the Lions most important offseason pickup.
timothy1997 0 Report post Posted June 12, 2006 (edited) http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news;_ylt=Aoec...ov=ap&type=lgns Big Ben involved in a motorcycle accident. Remember to wear your helmets kids!! Edit: Ben is not in critical condition. ESPN reported that early and then pulled that from their ticker. Going with a more reliable source. Heaton 1 Report post Posted June 12, 2006 ESPN is reporting that Ben Roethlisberger(sp) of the Steelers was involved in a motorcycle accident. Listed in critical but stable condition. Ben was not wearing a helmet. http://fantasysports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?sl...ov=ap&type=lgns I hope he's okay to start the season, but he's an idiot, after Kellen Winslow got injured in that crash Rothlisberger was interviewed and basically shrugged it off. Bill Cohwer was not happy that Ben was going to continue to rid his bike. If Roethlisberger ever rides another motorcycle again while under contract of an NFL team I'd be surprised.
