Okay, I hear you. In a way. I can't believe you turned the game off after the 3rd!!!!!!!!!!

I was right with the boys till the end.

Well I actually turned it one the radio outside (have outdoor speakers) - 'cause my kids wanted to play out there - but I didn't have to *see* the Heat getting all excited - that's too much for me.

Shaq is done, unless he only plays the 2nd half ot he season next year the same thing will happen in the playoffs.

Shaq is one dimensional, always has been, and this one dimension is fading fast.

I dont think you can say Shaq is done. He certainly isnt 25 anymore. But you have to look at that stat line and realize Dallas is double AND triple teaming Shaq down low. If Shaq doesnt score within seconds of taking an entry pass, he has to kick the ball out and try to get re-positioned if they can even get him the rock back. There still is no one in the league who can stick Shaq man to man.

Dallas has played an awesome series and based on what I've seen its clear they are a much better team than Miami is.

Miami doesnt have the firepower to stay with Dallas. Dallas has gone on runs in every game, they just didnt put Game 3 away.

I stand corrected. If Miami goes up 3-2 they are going to have to play much better in Dallas to win the title. They played like garbage in Dallas in Games 1-2. Maybe blowing the late lead in Game 3 took some of the wind out of the Mavs sails. They were off last night

We can go ahead and give the Mavs the dubious honor of being the least clutch team in Finals history. Nowitzki misses the free throw to send the game to OT in Game 3. Howard, with a chance to get a 3 point lead with a minute in overtime, and probably the win, misses BOTH free throws.

Wade, on the other hand, knocks down the shot to send the game to OT and wins it by hitting 2 freebies.

And as far as the battle of the superstars goes... Nowitzki isn't even in the running.

Unbelievable from Howard, why on earth did he call a time out? That ruined any chance they had of winning the game.

Miami now up 3-2, hopefully the Mavs can win both games at home but they sure have done a good job to make this series a massive struggle.

Miami deserved this game, Wade was a God, but good lord did Miami get a s***load of calls going their way. In their house or not, that was why officiating in the NBA is the biggest joke of all professional sports. Moreso than Golf!

No doubts, Wade was a monster. Double-teaming him would've been pointless, one on one he doesn't even need to drive the basket--he'll knock down a jumper over your head from 20 feet away and there's not a goddamn thing you can do about it. It's sick.

On the fouls... my favorite was where Wade went to the line after stumbling because he tried to squeeze between three people and got caught on somebody. I think the calls in the NHL are bad; they've got nothing on this. Same thing for diving. Why do I even watch basketball again? :P

I told my wife last night that this guy (Wade) is the closest thing to MJ that I've seen. No one has done what Wade has done in terms of taking over big games in the 4th quarter like 23 used to do.

In regards to the fouls, when you drive to the basket and create contact, you are going to get to the foul line. Miami did quite a bit of this. Dallas is a jump shooting team and isn't going to see the foul line as much. They will get some home cooking in Dallas from the refs though.

This one is destined to go 7.

This series will go 7. Wade is crazy good. I do get really mad that he gets away with alot of calls, but I guess those are the perks you get when your good, or don't play for the Pistons.

Does anyone else here just hate the Heat?

I dont hate the Heat....but I do hate Dallas.

The calls he gets are because he drives to the basket and creates contact. Jump shooters will never get to the free throw line because they don't create contact.

We'll see just how good of a coach Pat Riley is tonight. I think Dallas will be tough to beat at home. Tonight is the night to do it if you're Miami

Well, that first call in the final minute (you know, the only part of a basketball game that really matters) was BS and pretty much sunk the Mavs. Typical stuff, though laughable shooting led by Howard contributed to their demise, of course. In the end, you've got to look at Wade and say, "He was truly better player." He was better than Nowitzki by a country mile, and the rest of the Mavs too. Congrats to the Heat.

This is what really annoys me about D. Wade. He's a great player - the Heat deserve the title, he deserved the MVP, but he is NOT Michael Jordan. He's not Magic either, or Bird, etc etc. The guy had some incredible games this post-season, and a few bad ones. Let him have his 15 min of fame but stop with the MJ references. Chauncy was the finals MVP two years ago - but did we call start comparing him to MJ? No, and rightfully so.

Yup the NBA is the worst of the 4 major sports when it comes to officiating. I'll have to remember that next hockey season when I get mad at the refs. ;) Kicking Stackhouse out of game 5 for fouling Shaq was ludicrous - they should be embarassed. Dallas still has no excuse for not putting the Heat away - but they didn't need any help from the NBA in losing. At least when the refs botched the "no-goal" for Carolina the other night, they tried to make the right call - they just made a mistake. The NBA officials are openly biases and they don't even care - I'm convinced they decide who they're going to call fouls on before the game (or get orders from Stern). Oh well, enough of that season - I'm glad to put it behind me.

POST OF THE YEAR!!! I agree with that 100% I'm really starting to think Stern tells refs what to do before the game. Plus I'm so sick of Sportcenter showing a clip of Wade (sorry I mean "Flash" } and then showing MJ. Wade hasn't made any clutch buzzer beaters yet. Plus MJ didn't have the most dominating big man in the game either. Wade is good but not even CLOSE to MJ. Wade isn't even the best player in the NBA, and I think thats insulting to MJ

ESPN is reporting that Knicks have fired Larry Brown, Isiah Thomas will be named the new head coach.

D Wade is making a lot of people forget about that sidekick Shaq used to have in LA. D Wade is a better baller than that guy is too IMO

D Wade has how many rings?? Kobe has how many more??? Not even fair to compare the two.

Strange thing about comparisions to MJ or Kobe: For all the talk, the Heat have echoed they are "15 strong". Could they just be a good "team"???
