wingsdiehard13 33 Report post Posted August 8, 2006 If im Philly I am trying to get this done A.S.A.P.
Systemfel 33 Report post Posted August 8, 2006 Are you kidding? Gagne wants like 5.5 mil, right? Well, Näslund makes 6 mil and is older, slower and a worse two-way player. What?
BeeRYCE 2 Report post Posted August 8, 2006 What are you talking about? Naslund is a way better player than Gagne. Gagne's success last season came from Forsberg, put Forsberg on anyone's line, and you'll become a star. Gagne isn't a BAD player, but he wouldn't do anything on Vancouver. RyanBarnes! 293 Report post Posted August 8, 2006 Naslund is overrated and tired. This could be a great move for Vancouver.
superstarsingh 23 Report post Posted August 8, 2006 Naslund is overrated and tired. This could be a great move for Vancouver. Yes indeed. Naslund's best years are behind him. Gagne's are ahead of him.
Guest EZBAKETHAGANGSTA Report post Posted August 8, 2006 A ham sandwhich could score 20 goals on forsberg's line.
superstarsingh 23 Report post Posted August 9, 2006 A ham sandwhich could score 20 goals on forsberg's line. Gagne had 47 goals last year...
SwedeLundin77 460 Report post Posted August 9, 2006 Yeah Gagne easily as more upswing, Naslund is on the downslide, This would be a BIG deal for Vancouver.... Too bad Philly won't trade Gagne.
CupCrazy22 6 Report post Posted August 10, 2006 The only reason I could see Philly doing this is to put Naslund and Forsberg together. Other than that, the deal is better for Vancouver. I wish the Wings could aquire Gagne. That would be sweet!!
Guest EZBAKETHAGANGSTA Report post Posted August 10, 2006 (edited) Gagne had 47 goals last year... Oh so hes worth 2.5 ham sandwhiches. THANKS! Btw I wasent harping on Gange just saying that his stats are inflated. Edited August 10, 2006 by EZBAKETHAGANGSTA
Zetterberg_is_god 0 Report post Posted August 10, 2006 Ya I can see Philly wanting to combine veteran Swedish players. I think in the short term Philly could benefit, but in a few years time Gagne will be more of a leader and in his prime.
Toothless 0 Report post Posted August 20, 2006 Gagne and Naslund had the same amount of points last season if im not mistaken. Naslund didn't have a Forsberg centering him though...
spydrwebb 0 Report post Posted August 20, 2006 naslund and forsberg on the same line would be sick, and an immediate threat to their opposition.
Shock Wave 0 Report post Posted August 20, 2006 This would be pretty scary. Although I doubt it would happen.

FinRedWing 172 Report post Posted August 22, 2006 No way can Clarke make this trade,it would be kind of Islanders/Bruins-stupid.
Barnes52 0 Report post Posted August 22, 2006 Not happening, no room for this trade to happen on Vancouver's side. Rumor mongers should take into account the salary cap
wingslogo19 281 Report post Posted August 25, 2006 There's no way bobby clarks does this move.. it would be huge for both teams.. reuniting forsberg and naslund, maybe even put them on the same line .... but Nonis would never trade his Francise player.. Naslund will have a good year again... they got rid of Bert and i think that team needed the shake up
eva unit zero 271 Report post Posted August 27, 2006 (edited) Yes, they had same amount of points, but Naslund played 9 more games. Naslund Gagne Now compare Morrison to Forsberg, or Gagne w/Foppa vs Gagne without? Naslund is the better player..the fact that he has been on the NHL's first team three of the past four seasons says that in a nutshell. EDIT: Naslund also won the Pearson in 2003. Rice 42 Report post Posted August 27, 2006 Naslund has scored the most combined points of any player in the past four season I beleive.

Systemfel 33 Report post Posted September 11, 2006 Let's put it this way, put Naslund on Forsberg's line... Yeah that's what I thought. When Näslund and Forsberg have been linemates on Team Sweden, they haven't played very well. Just some food for thought...
eva unit zero 271 Report post Posted September 19, 2006 When Näslund and Forsberg have been linemates on Team Sweden, they haven't played very well. Just some food for thought... It would be yet another line with two former Pearson winners....to fall in with these other duos who at times were on a line together.: Gretzky/Hull Yzerman/Fedorov Yzerman/Hull Fedorov/Hull Lemieux/Jagr Lindros/Jagr Messier/Jagr Messier/Lindros
