betterREDthandead 58 Report post Posted February 15, 2007 This is the kind of game that gives me hope for the playoffs. Wings were getting absolutely stoned by Smith, the man could do no wrong tonight, and Zetterberg absolutely refused to let it happen. Nice.

J-Swift 0 Report post Posted February 15, 2007 Zetterberg is rapidly approaching gamebreaker status. No kidding. He's taken off this past few weeks. On TSN the other night they referred to Zetterberg as the best player in the NHL right now.

Rice 42 Report post Posted February 15, 2007 This is the kind of game that gives me hope for the playoffs. Wings were getting absolutely stoned by Smith, the man could do no wrong tonight, and Zetterberg absolutely refused to let it happen. Nice. If Hank keeps dominating the way he is it will be hard to stop the Wings. I'd feel more comfortable if the first line wasn't the only option though.

Flip-check 6 Report post Posted February 15, 2007 Hahaha! If only Hank's interview tonight could be online! Hank is glowing like he just made love for the first time ever. I am serious, there is that little grin and glint in his eye. This is hilarious.
J-Swift 0 Report post Posted February 15, 2007 If Hank keeps dominating the way he is it will be hard to stop the Wings. I'd feel more comfortable if the first line wasn't the only option though. That second line has been laughable lately. Lang, Cleary, and Williams haven't gotten anything done at all. This is a win we really needed if we wanted to keep pace with Nashville. The Preds blew out the Sharks tonight.
HockeyCrazy3033 168 Report post Posted February 15, 2007 :colorbounce: :colorbounce: :colorbounce: :colorbounce: HANK IS THE MAN. AND HELLO PEOPLE..WHERE IS THE LOVE FOR THE GREAT OZ?! So happy he got a win! He played REALLY good for it being his first game back. He made a lot of tough saves, and was really quick. Also good with the puck. Didn't look like his finger was bothering him much. WOOO OZ!

Heroes of Hockeytown 694 Report post Posted February 15, 2007 WINGS EXPOSED: Wings were outhit, out-trapped and had to face a red hot goalie. And won! It could be that this is a pretty decent team we have here, guys. Zetterberg is rapidly approaching gamebreaker status. I was going to say "the greatest player on the ******* planet" status but this also acceptable.
datsyukismyfriend 4 Report post Posted February 15, 2007 great third period. another three point game for z!! he is unstoppable!! too bad the wings only have one line. imagine if we had too anyway, nice to see them pull it out in the third.
rwfan007 18 Report post Posted February 15, 2007 i am still awe struck by hank's pass, he is just dominating right now, we need another dominator since dom is banged up a bit still
Pskov Wings Fan 71 Report post Posted February 15, 2007 If Hank keeps dominating the way he is it will be hard to stop the Wings. I'd feel more comfortable if the first line wasn't the only option though. First line just need to be conditioned well enough to play 40 minutes a game. Heroes of Hockeytown 694 Report post Posted February 15, 2007 AND HELLO PEOPLE..WHERE IS THE LOVE FOR THE GREAT OZ?! Honestly? I forgot there was any Detroit Red Wings at all. Hank absolutely stole the show. What a completely dominating (dare I say Fedorov-esque--complete with wraparound attempt) performance by our main man. Absolutely dynamite. Give this man some awards.
